Manali- a bewitching city situated in the enchanting Himalayan range in the state of Himachal Pradesh. It is one of the most famous hill stations in the country to visit especially during the summer when people come here in order to escape from the scorching heat of the plains. 1. Hidimba devi temple- One of Manali's most iconic landmarks is the Hidimba Devi Temple, nestled amidst a serene cedar forest. This ancient temple, dedicated to Goddess Hidimba, boasts unique architecture with its wooden facade and intricately carved doorway. The tranquil ambiance and the gentle rustling of the trees made my visit a deeply spiritual experience.
2. Jogini Falls- Manali is a trekker's delight, and one of the most rewarding treks is to Jogini Falls. The trail starts from Vashisht Village, known for its hot springs, and winds through apple orchards, pine forests, and charming villages. The trek is moderately easy, making it accessible for most travelers.
3. Solang Valley- A definite paradise for adventure enthusiast. Situated about 13 kilometers ahead of manali, Solang Valley offers various types of adventure sports which would certainly made your adrenaline rush.
4. Rohtang Pass- It is high mountain pass which is located around 51 kms ahead of Manali. It offers a picturesque view of the mountains which will leave you bewildered. It also has a variety of adventure activities to offer such as snow bike riding, paragliding and one can also visit the beautiful Nehru Kund and the Vashist hot spring and temple.
